About Us
The National Peace Officers and Fire
Fighter Benefits Association provides long-term care protection to
public safety personnel and their spouses throughout California. Founded
in 1999 by the law enforcement and firefighting communities for their
members, NPFBA is a jointly sponsored trust of the California Law
Enforcement Association (CLEA) and California Association of
Professional Fire Fighters (CAPF).
NPFBA’s long-term care plan serves more than 10,000 participants in over
300 public safety organizations in California. It is managed by a Board
of Trustees comprised of law enforcement and fire personnel from
throughout California, ensuring the long-term strength of the plan and
that it is operated in the best interests of the public safety personnel
it serves.
NPFBA offers a comprehensive benefit package at rates significantly less
than those offered by other public and private providers.
